Court Reporting FAQs

How can I schedule a Court Reporter with State Shorthand?

      Your Choice:

How do I get confirmation that you have received my scheduling information?

However you schedule your deposition with us, you will always receive the following:

When can I expect your reporter to arrive?

State Shorthand's court reporters arrive on site 15-30 minutes before the scheduled start time of your proceeding, which provides the court reporters enough time to setup their equipment. Having a cell phone or direct dial number to someone that can help the court reporter gain access to the conference room prior to the firm opening for an early morning start will help ensure the proceeding starts on time.

When can I expect State Shorthand's videographer to arrive?

State Shorthand's videographers arrive on site 30-45 minutes before the scheduled start time of your proceeding. It is particularly important to allow the videographers time to setup their equipment.  Having a cell phone or direct dial number to someone that can help the videographer gain access to the conference room prior to the firm opening for an early morning start will help ensure the proceeding starts on time.
